Job Description:
Venn Group are working on an excellent opportunity to join a Housing Association, based in the North West, on a Fixed Term Contract basis within their Legal and Commercial Services Team, to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Housing Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience of handling disrepair claims, to join an award-winning Trust and provide support for the local community.
Salary: £42,300 - £47,000 DOE (this may be negotiable)
Hours: 37 hours a week (will consider part-time)
Length of contract: 12 months
Start Date: Immediate
Working Arrangement: Ideally hybrid attendance, however fully remote will be considered

The successful candidate will be:

- Managing disrepair claims, including responding to claims in accordance with the pre-action protocol
- Negotiating settlements where applicable
- Reporting monthly to the Trust’s Senior Management team
- Managing and reviewing warning alerts for high-risk properties including where dual visits are required by staff
- Assisting the Legal Services Manager with any delegated tasks, particularly relating to the management of the Trust’s commercial property portfolio
- Providing legal advice and support to all teams across the Trust
