HR Advisor
An exciting position has arisen for a HR Adviser to join a national membership body, in their Central London office. The successful postholder will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment function.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- To ensure that HR systems are updated and maintained, which includes SharePoint and eRecruitment system
- Administer and support all aspects of the recruitment function from liaising with recruiting managers on their vacancy to onboarding of new starters
- Liaise with recruiting managers, finance and external stakeholders to ensure that all consultants, secondees and service provisions agreements are in place, up-to-date and regularly reviewed
- To lead on the probationary review process
- Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
- Produce and present information briefings/workshops on a range of HR related topics
- Organise and conduct new starter on-boarding processes, induction meetings with new employees and agency workers in collaboration with the line managers and the HR recruitment team
- Ensure that all recruitment information for payroll is submitted to payroll in a timely manner
- Support the HR Manager on recruitment matters, as appropriate and to keep the HR pages on the Intranet and websites up to date
- Assist with the training of staff on appropriate HR systems
- Assist with the patients and carers conference and other events, as required
- Assist with employee relation cases and provide high quality support within our health support process
- Offer administrative support to the HR department and provide cover to other HR colleagues
Ideal candidate profile:
- CIPD qualification desirable
- Experience of working within recruitment
- Experience of using HR and recruitment systems including accessing, inputting and compiling data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, flexible, and able to work both independently and in a team
