Venn Group has been approached by a leading contractor to recruit for a Qualified HVAC Engineer on a temporary ongoing basis in Blackpool.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and remedial work of HVAC systems, with a focus on both new installations and some PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance).

The duties will include:

• Installing and commissioning HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Carrying out PPM tasks and remedial work to ensure HVAC systems remain in optimal condition.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on HVAC systems as required.
• Liaising with clients and site managers to ensure installations meet specifications and health & safety standards.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Keeping accurate records of work carried out, including maintenance schedules and remedial actions.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and maintaining tools and equipment.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in HVAC or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience in HVAC installations and PPM/maintenance.
• Strong fault diagnosis and remedial repair skills.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and site teams.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills:

• F-Gas certification or similar.
• Additional qualifications in heating, ventilation, or air conditioning.
