Job Title: IT Support Analyst
Location: Watford, WD18
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary:From £30,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
This role requires a broad knowledge of computer hardware, software, applications, networks, servers, security, and IT provisioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and Troubleshooting: Maintain and troubleshoot IT computer services, including workstations, printers, servers, networks, security, and applications (50%).
- Client Interaction: Address client problems, provide training, use ITIL tools, and propose technical solutions (25%).
- Collaboration: Work with third-party vendors and different teams to efficiently resolve issues (10%).
- Analysis and Improvement: Assist in analysing and improving technical issue resolution within broader IT areas (10%).
- Security: Monitor and install security patches to ensure devices run satisfactorily and comply with standards (5%).
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Working knowledge of IT end-user desktop & laptop computers, printers, servers, networks, security, hardware, software, and applications.
- Strong problem-solving, issue interpretation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and ability to learn new technologies
- 5+ years of experience is desirable.
