Locum Employment Lawyer – London – Competitive hourly rate – Hybrid Working
Position: Locum Employment Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: 3-month initial contract
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working
Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate
Venn Group’s legal team are working with a forward thinking London based Local Authority to recruit a Locum Employment Lawyer.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either an experienced Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who can demonstrate having extensive experience of handing a wide range of employment matters.
Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.
Duties shall include:
- Handling an employment caseload, advising on complex discrimination and grievance cases
- Advising on large scale redundancies and TUPE governance matters
- Willingness to work in other areas such as SEND or education (this is desired but not essential)
