Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Engineer role- Shropshire

Contract Type:           6 month contract

Location:                    Shropshire

Hourly Rate:              £15.96/hour inclusive of holiday pay

Working pattern:       8-4.30 Monday to Friday

Venn Group are currently recruiting for Mechanical maintenacne engineer to work on a large commercial site based in Shropshire.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• To provide a high standard of workmanship maintaining Mechanical Systems

• Being responsible for all mechanical maintenance across the site
• Overseeing completion of PPM’s and reactive maintenance
• Maintaining Air Handling Units
• Dealing with ventilation and pipe measurements
• Maintaining mechanical works in line with company standards
• Managing sub contractors on site
• Ensuring work is completed in line with Health and Safety standards
• To undertake other duties as may be directed by the Estates Manager

The successful candidate will have:

• Training in relevant discipline e.g. City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/Mechanical or equivalent

• A good understanding of mechanical systems
• Relevant Qualifications (C&G or Equivalent to level 2 or level 3)
• Previous experience of working in the building maintenance industry ideally within a hospital
