Neighborhood Officer

Position:          Neighbourhood officer  

Location:         Manchester (flexible working is available)

Rate:               £25.00 p/hour (Umbrella rate)     

Length:            End of March    

Hours:             37.5 hours p/week – no weekend working  

The role will predominantly involve:

• Working in a busy team of over 30 housing colleagues committed to improving the lives of Manchester residents
• Using informal and formal action, implementing HMO and Selective licensing, checking properties are up to standard and free from hazards
• Supporting with the delivery of statutory enforcement obligations and where necessary liaise with other organisations departments or relevant bodies
• Dealing effectively with requests within designated timescales and maintaining accurate records of all relevant investigations, inspections and meetings

To be considered for this role you will need to be available to start at short notice, be HHSRS trained (must have completed training not be in the process) DBS checked and have experience of Housing Compliance and Enforcement and Mandatory HMO Licensing and/or Selective Licensing
