Role: Network Engineer

Salary: £44,000 - £47,000

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the operation and maintenance of all IT Spaces, including data centres and communications rooms
Assist in the implementation of technological changes across the IT infrastructure
Support the security, resilience, backup, and monitoring efforts for IT infrastructure
Raise and execute Change Requests in compliance with the Change Control process
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, processes, inventories, and tools
Promote collaboration and open communication with other IT teams to deliver exceptional IT services
Identify and implement service improvements and innovations aligned with the IT strategy and roadmap
Explore and execute initiatives to minimize environmental impact and enhance sustainability
Collaborate closely with third-party providers to transition services and solutions into a BAU environment while maintaining operational excellence

Essential

Proven experience working within technical environments such as data centre suites and communication rooms (Technical Spaces)
Demonstrated success in an operational and collaborative role, including supporting local teams and liaising with third-party providers
Experienced in managing and delivering technical projects effectively
Strong ability to identify, prioritize, and manage workflows efficiently
Ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
