Locum Planning Lawyer – South East England – Competitive Salary – Hybrid Working
Job Title: Locum Planning Lawyer
Location: South-East England
Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience
Venn Group’s specialist legal team and an ambitious Local Authorirty in the South East of England are in the search for a skilled Locum Planning Lawyer. This engaging role offers a chance to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of a forward-thinking team
This role shall be for 5 months on a rolling contract basis, subject to a case by case evaluation and shall primarily be on a hybrid working basis ideally once a week but will consider a remote working pattern and in person planning committee meetings once every 3 weeks.
The ideal candidate will be either Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of CILEx with a proven background in Planning Law within Local Government and looking for a rewarding opportunity as part of a team that values your expertise and offers a dynamic environment for professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Draft a variety of Section 106 Agreements
- Provide written and oral advice to clients
- Manage a diverse caseload of legal matters, offering legal guidance to council colleagues and partners
Requirements:
- Planning experience in local government
- Ability to attend planning committee meetings once every 3 weeks
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
