About the role:
As Senior Childcare Lawyer, you will be at the forefront of advising on child protection matters, tackling complex cases, and providing critical support to children’s and young people’s social care teams. You will collaborate closely with the Head of the Social Care Legal Team to drive excellent practices and ensure the highest standards of legal compliance and influence the development and implementation of key policies.
In this role, you’ll benefit from the support of a dedicated legal officer, allowing you to focus on what truly matters. With this high level of assistance, you can manage your time effectively, prioritize your caseload, and deliver the best possible outcomes for the council and the community.
About you:
To be successful in securing this position you will:
- Be a qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with up-to-date practicing certificate
- Possess demonstrable experience of working within and providing advice on Childcare law
