Locum Senior Childcare Paralegal – 8 months - Predominantly Remote Working – Full Time – Up to £35 per hour – Home Counties

Position: Locum Senior Childcare Paralegal or Junior Lawyer level can be considered

Organisation: Home Counties

Duration: 8 months + (Maternity Cover)  

Working Pattern: Full time

Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, office attendance is preferred a minimum of once a fortnight

Hourly Rate: Up to £35 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of Childcare Legislation matters.

Duties may include:

• To provide legal advice and representation on a variety of matters within the Childcare team, including assisting Senior Lawyers on complex caseloads
• Conduct and manage a wide-ranging caseload of straightforward legal work, including undertaking advocacy, prepare and draft legal documents as required
• Maintain knowledge on relevant Legislation, Case law, Codes of Practice, Local Authority guidance and policy
