Surveyor / Plasterer

Job Title: Surveyor (with Remedial Plastering Skills)

Venn Group has been approached by a well-established Housing Association within the Manchester area to recruit for a Surveyor on a temporary basis, with the added responsibility of carrying out remedial plastering work after assessing properties.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience working in a similar role and possess the ability to undertake remedial plastering tasks following property assessments.

The duties will include:

• Carrying out property surveys to assess repair and maintenance needs
• Providing accurate reports and recommendations for remedial works
• Performing remedial plastering work as required after property assessments
• Ensuring work complies with health and safety regulations
• Liaising with tenants and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
• Coordinating and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Supporting the repairs and maintenance team with additional tasks as needed

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Relevant Surveying qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent)
• Experience in remedial plastering work
• Social housing experience
• Full UK driver’s license

Desirable Skills:

• NVQ Level in Plastering or equivalent
• Knowledge of social housing standards and regulations
