Valuation Surveyor

Role: Interim Valuation Surveyor

Rate: £400 per day

Qualifications: RICS Membership / Registered Valuer 

Essential: 

• Current valid UK driving license and willingness to drive – If you don’t have access to a vehicle, a pool car will be provided for work purposes.

Desirable:

• Local government experience as a valuer

The post holder will:

• Support the Head of Property Services in ensuring the first-class delivery of property asset valuations

• Undertake the Council’s valuation requirements including general valuation advice, development site valuations, Asset Valuations and any other valuations as required

• Undertake unaccompanied site visits of sites (including construction sites) and buildings

• Handle and respond to finance and audit enquiries relating to asset valuations

 • Manage a caseload of asset valuation work and support other team members
