We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Finance Manager to join the team on a rolling contract basis.
Role Overview: The VP Finance Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in financial services, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to managing financial risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Oversee the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and management reports.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and other relevant regulatory and accounting standards.

Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.

Provide key insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and business trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk, compliance, treasury, and operations.

Support capital and liquidity management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Drive process improvements and efficiencies within financial reporting and controls.

Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a finance leadership role within a banking or financial services institution.

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Basel III, IFRS, and UK banking regulations.

Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.

Excellent financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling skills.

Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Experience with finance transformation and process improvement initiatives is a plus.
