£500-£550 per day, Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

Our client require a Senior Digital Forensics Specialist to join the team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the client by enhancing lab capabilities, ensuring FSP Standards are met and undertake complex processing, analysis and interpretation of digital evidence
• Provide SME and guidance to colleagues and investigative staff and enhancing the units capabilities
• Create and provide reports and updates to the Head of Unit (findings, recommendations and development)
• Develop and implement methods, validation plans, training materials and competency assessments for digital forensic tasks (mobile phones, computer, decoding, conversation and loose media extraction)
• Provide witness statements and attend court to give evidence on digital forensic work

Skills/Experience Required:

• Significant experience as a Digital Forensic Investigators/Examiner
• Experience in digital forensic casework and delivering results to customers
• Extensive knowledge of digital media, operating systems, storage devices and cloud forensics
• Understanding of evident handling procedures
• Certification or equivalent experience with forensic tools e.g. EnCE, NICS, CCLO, CCPA, or similar.

Desirable:

• Experience working in law enforcement or criminal justice environment
